Hi there!
We’ve got just three days left for the Sacrimony #8 campaign (and then I can finally sleep!)
We’ve had a great start and I really appreciate the folks who have shown up to support the comic and see where this next issue of love, life and death (in no particular order) is going, despite all the insanity around us. If you’re undecided about whether you want to see what’s next, I’m here to tell you why you should be reading this issue.
Issue #6 left off on a literal cliffhanger (I’m still patting myself on the back about that) before issue #7 cut to Khajad’s Bizarre Traumatizing Adventure and issue #8 continues from aforementioned cliffhanger. We get to see what happens to Yunika when she meets these very scary armed guards.
We get to see whatever the hell this is! (It’s creepy AF, that’s what it is!)
There’s possibly my favorite series of panels but also WTF?
There’s also even more WTF because, seriously WTF!?
I’ve managed to step up my art even more this time, somehow, making an even prettier comic than the past issues. If you like looking at aesthetically pleasing colors and pretty characters in fancy dress, I’ve got you covered.
And speaking of which…
This issue features most annoyingly intricate character design I’ve ever done in this comic (yet). Real talk, the pages with Ankhiel in this particular outfit took me like 80 billion years to ink and my hand wanted to secede from the union, but man was it all worth it!
I’m really excited for this issue. It’s one of my favorite parts of the story, because so much is explained, but you’re also left with even more questions. There’s just three days left to back the Kickstarter and get your copy of issue #8!
