Hi there!
I had a lot more things that I wanted to do and write about, but life finds a way to have me not do the things. I’ve been battling a sinus infection, plus, last week some relatives (that I actually like) dropped by to visit and in the midst of me trying to be a good host/tour guide, we all caught a stubborn, and horribly inconvenient cold.
Instead of me trying to push myself to keep up with things I can’t keep up with, I spent my spare time tinkering with the original Sacrimony website and replacing the old webcomic pages from 2016 with the new pages that I started redoing in 2020. I’ve got the first issue up on the site and I’ll continue to add a page every Monday and every other Thursday.
It’s officially been 8 years since Sacrimony has been around in some way, shape or form, and what better way to celebrate than to bring the comic back to its original format? For those of you who are wondering what this means for print books and pdfs, it doesn’t change a thing. Patreon supporters will always get first access to new pages, then Kickstarter backers and then webcomic readers. The webcomic is just another way to get new readers into the series and hopefully have even bigger and better Kickstarters down the road. And it’s also a fun way for folks to reread the series and talk with other people who are also reading it.
Thanks so much for reading. Hopefully I’ll have much more to say next week when I’m not coughing up a lung and drowning in my own mucus.
Have a great weekend!
-M
Feel better!
The "drowning in my own mucus" thing is far too real and I wish it wasn't a thing that oft ends up happening when the mucus gets too big for tis britches. :(
